Daniel Folkman is a seasoned executive with a robust background in scaling businesses, fundraising, and strategic partnerships. As one of Gopuff’s earliest employees and the Senior Vice President of Business at Gopuff, he has been instrumental in transforming the company into the leading instant commerce platform. His leadership in global business functions and his innovative approach to deal-making, advertising and partnerships have significantly contributed to Gopuff's expansive growth and success.

  • Leads Gopuff’s global business functions, helping to scale the company to 400+ micro-fulfillment centers across more than 1,000 cities in the US and Europe.
  • Spearheaded fundraising and M&A efforts, securing roughly $4 billion in funding and orchestrating major acquisitions including BevMo!, Liquor Barn, RideOS, Fancy, and Dija.
  • Originated the concept of Gopuff Ads, merging brand relevance with hyperlocal logistics, and secured significant budgets from major CPG brands such as PepsiCo, Kraft Heinz, Mars Wrigley, Coca-Cola, Unilever, and more.
  • Drove major consumer partnerships with companies like Chase, Mastercard, Apple, Cash App, Hyatt, Uber, Grubhub, PayPal, Venmo, and celebrities including Chris Paul and Selena Gomez.
  • Regular speaker at national events and conferences such as Bloomberg Tech Summit, Grocery Shop, AdWeek, SXSW, and more. 
  • Advisor and investor in 20+ early-stage tech and consumer goods startups.
  • Graduated from Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management with a dual-major in Entrepreneurship & Emerging Enterprises and Finance and a minor in Economics.
